Booking and boarding guide
Prepare for your high-speed ferry journey: check tickets, identification, departure ports, baggage, arrival times and what to do if schedules change.
From choosing a sailing to arriving at the port, a short checklist can help you avoid mistakes with the route, travel date or departure port.
Before booking
- Check departure and arrival ports and schedules in both directions for a round trip.
- Choose your seat class and check each passenger’s eligibility for concessions.
- Confirm the total price, availability, and change and cancellation conditions before paying.
After receiving your ticket
Check passenger names, identification details, route, date and time, and seat class. Save your e-ticket so it is easy to show; check the instructions to see whether a printed copy is needed. Tell the ticket issuer promptly if any details are incorrect.
Preparing to go to the port
Bring identification matching your booking details. Check the port address, required arrival time and baggage rules for your booked sailing. Do not use another route’s timings to decide when to arrive.
If travelling with young children, someone who needs assistance or large baggage, discuss this with the ticket issuer beforehand. Keep walkways clear and follow crew instructions when boarding and disembarking.
If plans change
Check sailing notices again before setting off. If your sailing changes, contact the ticket issuer and connecting service providers to adjust your plans.
